1. Products

1.1Warwick’s Genealogy Services is not required to provide a refund or replacement of products if you change your mind, however because of the confidence Warwick’s Genealogy Services has in the product Warwick’s Genealogy Services will offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee if you feel the product is not what you expected.

1.2In order to be eligible for this full refund, you must return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you received it in and undamaged in any way.

1.3After the package is received by Warwick’s Genealogy Services it be will inspected and if all is well your refund will be processed. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

1.4If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.

1.5If you have received an item that is damaged or that does not match its description we will refund or exchange where proof of purchase is provided. We also require notification within 2 business days from the time the delivery was made.

1.7Warwick’s Genealogy Services will abide by Australian Consumer law and provide customers with a repair, refund or replacement if the product is faulty, damaged or where false and misleading claims have been made. In addition, the business has its own refund policy as detailed below.

1.8Warwick’s Genealogy Services will fulfil certain conditions and warranties set out by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA).

1.9The goods must:

(a)be of merchantable quality—goods need to reach a basic level of quality given the price of the goods and any description that is provided with the goods
(b)be fit for the purpose or job that they are meant to provide and fulfil purposes made known to the consumer
(c)match any description or sample given to the consumer whether in promotional material, over the phone, in person, on a website or on labelling or packaging
(d)be free from defects and faults
(e)be clear of finance or encumbrances not disclosed to the consumer so that the consumer can have free title to the goods.

1.10The owner of Warwick’s Genealogy Services understands that when goods are sold, a contract is entered into with the consumer. Should the business fail to meet this obligation, a refund or replacement may be provided.

2. Services

2.1If for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with the service undertaken by Warwick’s Genealogy Services, please apply for the cancellation within the first 30 days of your payment date. In case you fail to apply for the refund and cancellation during this period, it shall void 30 day money back guarantee.

2.2Costs incurred such as document purchases are not refundable.

2.4Accounts that are either cancelled, deactivated, and/or have services suspended for violation of our terms of service do not qualify for our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee and will not receive any refunds.

2.5Warwick’s Genealogy Services will abide by Australian Consumer law and provide customers with a repair, refund or replacement if the service is faulty, damaged or where false and misleading claims have been made. In addition, the business has its own refund policy as detailed below:

2.6The owner of Warwick’s Genealogy Services is obliged to carry out all services with due skill and care. The business owner will ensure that any materials provided as part of this service are fit for the purpose.

2.7Should the business owner fail to meet any of these obligations, the service may have to be repeated, or the business owner may need pay for someone else to carry it out. It is also acknowledged that the consumer may also be able to claim compensation for expenses incurred as a result, such as loss or damage. The business owner may have to bear this cost.
